Summer League 2024 – Monday night leagues
Our Monday Night Summer League returns for a 20th season with two taster sessions on 22nd and 29th April, before the league proper starts on Monday 13th May (note the venue is closed on bank holiday Monday 6th May). Matches will take place on the front grass pitches at Gresham Playing Fields and the league will initially feature one larger division before splitting to form a cup and plate competition. Teams will play each other once in the initial league, before the cup and plate competitions. As we have three fields, we have planned for half the teams to play two matches in a night. PLEASE NOTE THERE ARE NO GAMES ON MONDAY 27 MAY AS THE SITE IS CLOSED.
Fixtures will be 40 minutes in length and teams must have at least three women on the field at all times.
The league will finish a week earlier than normal on Monday 8th July 2024 in time for the start of the Touch World Cup at the University of Nottingham's Highfields Sports Complex on Monday 15th July,
Mondays 13, 20 May, 3, 10, and 17 June - One mixed division, 8 teams, play one another once.
Mondays 24 June, 1 and 8 July - Cup and Plate competitions of 4 teams, play one another once.
NO GAMES ON 27 MAY - SITE CLOSED.
