Winter League 2023 – Pool A qualifying

The 2023 Winter League returns with 10 teams split into two pools of 5 for the first part of competition. Each team will play one another in their pool before the top two in each pool progress to the cup and the bottom three in each pool to the plate. The pool qualifying matches will last for the first five weeks, with each team having one rest week. All games will be 40 minutes and they'll be four games each week - two at 8pm and two at 9pm. The four teams progressing to the cup will then play one another twice with the game in the qualifying pools counting towards these results. There will be five more weeks of competition and no rest weeks. Matches will be 40 minutes in length. The six teams progressing to the plate will then play one another once more over five weeks with games being shortened in length to 30 minutes to allow for three games each week. Overall the league will last ten weeks. The league starts on Monday 16th January and will finish on Monday 20th March 2023.
